Attingal non resident’s association (anra) is a non political organization established in the year 2004 by a group of expatriates from Attingal, Kerala. It has been established with an aim of supporting its members once they repatriate themselves back home after they service abroad. Today anra has grown as one of the reputed organization among the expatriate community in UAE. Anra has stretched its wings into various business ventures to support its members.
Anra has a charity mission - it looks after the welfare of the needy people in Attingal. Anra has been supportive for many people in their needy times over the past few years for their medical expenses or for their day to day survival. An annual donation of school uniforms to the poor children was the highlight of it and was appreciated by all walks of people including the Municipality of Attingal. Anra considers its members as its assets, who at short notice has whole heartedly contributed in supporting anra’s mission of charity.
Apart from that, anra works for the progress and development of Attingal by bringing in more investments which anra has already started having established its minor business venture “Anra Services” . It also gives an impetus to its members to invest in Attingal thereby assuring the development of Attingal.
Anra lends its hand to the youngsters of Attingal who envisages a career abroad and will always be willing to assist them in finding placements. Attingal boasts of having a high caliber human resources pool, but remains untapped. Anra aims to keep a data base of all available human resources and can assist the companies globally to tap the resources from its pool.
The very existence of anra is based on the principle of non affiliation with any of the political parties, but anra will actively participate in the events carried out for the progress, development and welfare of Attingal municipal town. |
